About The Department

The Department of English at VMASCW was established in the year 2019 . The department focuses on enhancing students’ writing, speaking, critical thinking, and creative skills. Through initiatives like the Theatre Club and Lit Tequila, students are encouraged to express themselves and develop confidence. Enrichment courses offered through online platforms further support their academic growth. With a strong foundation in language and literature, the department aims to provide a balanced education that nurtures creativity, critical inquiry, and a deeper understanding of self and society.

English Literature is to impart students with skills and insights needed to engage with and interpret a wide variety of texts. And it provides quality communication for Personality, for Nationality.
