Velumanoharan Arts and Science College for Women (VMASCW), an educational initiative under the Velumanoharan Health and Educational Trust, is affiliated with Alagappa University, Karaikudi, and recognized by the UGC under Section 2(f). Situated on the serene Devipattinam-Ramanathapuram Highway, just 4 km from Ramanathapuram city, the college enjoys excellent connectivity to nearby towns such as Paramakudi, Thiruvadanai, Rameswaram, and Kamuthi, making it accessible to students across the region. Our college offers a peaceful environment that promotes academic excellence, with modern facilities tailored to meet the needs of 21st-century education. Spread across 6 acres, the campus features state-of-the-art laboratories, spacious classrooms, well-equipped staff rooms, a large auditorium, a modern seminar hall, a well-maintained playground, and a cozy canteen, ensuring a holistic learning experience. VMASCW currently offers nine undergraduate and four postgraduate programs, with plans to expand to 12 undergraduate and five postgraduate programs in women-specific, job-oriented fields within the next five years. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive transport network with 25 buses covering the district, ensuring safe and convenient travel for both staff and students.
